Drive-By-Shooting XIV, I-80, Northern Illinois

I have no idea what this is but it was outside
the passenger side window at 75 mph and
fairly close to us. I know this much because It
was between frame #'s 13 and 15 on the roll
                         of film. TMax 100.

Old Man In Central Park, Decatur, IL

The most difficult thing for me when adding a figure,
such as this old man, is the shadows. Further, when
choosing something to add one must consider the
direction of the light falling upon the insert. It should
match the direction of light falling on other objects
                  in the photograph.

Raindrops On the Rear Window by Julia Mattingly-Horrigan

This photograph, and the one below, represent a new direction in
seeing for Ms Horrigan. It is discovery oriented and displays an
elevated interest in common events that inevitably escape the
regard of most people. Though both have been done spur of the
moment, every element, of these two photographs, has been
carefully considered in the post production presentation.

Quail Roost Farm, N.C. by Julia Mattingly-Horrigan

Another lovely photograph from the lens of Julia. She certainly
has beautiful settings in which to work. However, one can not
count on beautiful settings unless one has the eye to include that
which makes the photograph more than just a snapshot - as this
               one does.

Window Reflection, Law Center, Springfield, IL

The only change was with hue and saturation which I took to extremes. The original image possessed an over all blueish/greenish cast. The windows were not flat, apparently not float glass, and were backed up by reflective draping of some sort.
